Comfort & Play Areas
At Muddy Paws, our goal is to ensure your pet feels as comfortable as if they were at home. While we can provide bedding, you’re welcome to bring a special blanket, bed, or (approved) toy to make their stay even cozier.
Your pup will also have the opportunity to play in one of our two separate play areas, which are divided by personality and play style. This ensures a fun and stress-free environment where your dog won’t be bored or overstimulated. We take pride in getting to know each dog on a personal level and providing them with the best experience possible.

All stays include a comfortable environment, loving care, and engaging activities. Muddy Paws is a home away from home—customized care for every pup!
To ensure the safety of our guests, every dog MUST have the following vaccinations PRIOR to spending time at Muddy Paws:

At Muddy Paws, we accept pups of all ages!
For the safety of our other guests, if your puppy
under 16 weeks isn’t fully vaccinated,
they will be kept separate from ALL other doggy guests.
At Muddy Paws, we welcome all dogs!
However, if your dog is intact, they may have limited interaction with other canine guests.
This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all dogs and to prevent any accidental pregnancies.
***Note: We do not take females in heat.
Food Requirements
We prefer pet parents bring enough food for their pup’s stay plus a little extra in case of an extended stay. Please bring food in individual Ziploc bags rather than bulky containers, as storage space is limited.
House Food Option
If needed, we can provide food for $3 per meal, but we recommend keeping your dog on their regular diet to avoid any digestive upset.
Food Allergies
Let us know if your dog has food or treat allergies so we can accommodate accordingly.
Check-out time is 10:00 AM.
Dogs picked up in the afternoon will incur an additional late checkout charge of $25 per dog.

Additional Information
At Muddy Paws, we believe in creating an enriching and fun-filled experience for every dog in our care. Whether your pup is here for play, socialization, or a mental challenge, we provide a safe and engaging space to meet their needs.
🐾 All annual rates are billed annually and must be used within the year. Unused days do not roll over.
🐾 No-shows and same-day cancellations will be charged the full cost of the scheduled boarding stay.
🐾 Cancellations must be made at least 2 business days in advance to avoid cancellation fees. For holiday reservations, cancellations must be made at least 7 business days in advance for a full refund.
🐾 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times – Flexible options to fit your schedule.
🐾 Reservations Required – To ensure a safe and structured environment, all boarding guests must be pre-registered.

Muddy Paws took very good care of our 2 dogs (Shiba Inu and Beagle). We were in the process of moving from Hawaii to San Antonio and they really worked with us as far as drop off times and extending when needed. Definitely recommend them if you need to board your pups.

Absolutely love Muddy Paws! Left our Harlee here for the first time over Labor Day weekend. We just love how they give each dog such great individual attention! It’s not just a job to them, they actually treat them as family (as it should be). We have already booked two more trips. Place is very clean and the run area is huge! They let them go out the first few times by themselves and then introduce them to other fur babies. They sent her home with a cute picture with information and date on the back. We have not been able to find an available boarder close to us since moving to La Vernia and we stumbled across this one and love them!
