Whether you're starting with the basics or looking to achieve off-leash reliability, your dog will stay with us and receive daily, structured training sessions tailored to your goals. Each program includes daily hands-on training, exposure to real-world distractions, and personal handoff sessions to ensure you’re equipped to maintain the progress at home. Basic
Our 3-Week Basic Obedience Board & Train Program is designed to build a solid obedience foundation while teaching your dog essential manners and impulse control. Perfect for busy owners who want a well-behaved companion, this structured program focuses on on-leash training (up to 6’ away) and real-world exposure.

Our 4-Week Intermediate Obedience Board & Train Program is designed for owners who want a well-mannered, obedient dog both at home and in public settings. Our 5-Week Advanced Obedience Board & Train Program is designed for owners who want a highly obedient, well-mannered dog that listens reliably off-leash (distances can vary per dog) in real-world environments. Puppy Raising Programs
At Muddy Paws Dog Boarding and Obedience School, our Puppy Raising Programs are designed to lay a solid foundation for your puppy’s lifelong obedience and good manners. These comprehensive programs include five days a week of expert training with our experienced trainers and two days dedicated to reinforcing those skills at home with the owner.
Throughout the program, your puppy will learn essential skills such as house and potty training, crate training, and foundational obedience commands like sit, down, stay, recall (come), and loose leash walking. We also focus on engagement and luring exercises to enhance focus and cooperation.
Additionally, we ensure your puppy develops polite manners through tasks like door manners, proper socialization with other dogs and people, and exposure to new environments to build confidence. By the end of the program, you’ll have a well-rounded, well-behaved puppy ready to thrive in any situation!

April is a hidden treasure, I am very pleased with her expertise with dogs, after all she has been training them for over 20 years for the military! And even if that sounds like tough work, she is actually very kind and always goes with positive training to them, no wonder my dogs were very comfortable with her when I came back to pick them up. April was very kind and welcoming and helped us feel knowledgeable about the steps we needed to implement in our lives after the training was in our hands in order to reinforce what our dogs had learned. Once we picked them up after two weeks of boarding and training we were able to tell they actually retained a lot of the training they received and now we also have the skills to train at home. Our main points of training were coming when called, no jumping, sit, and stay. The foundations were very well implemented with our dogs, now it is up to us to reinforce it at home.
